Stand Alone Off Grid Unit/Units
The Stirling unit is perfectly suited for off grid applications such as electrifying rural areas, power radio base station or a pump station, many of which are often powered by diesel generators. The diesel generator is not only a large burden to the environment, but also a lot more expensive due to the high service demand and fuel consumption. The latter is often much higher than anticipated due to embezzlement and other unaccounted losses.
The Stirling unit produces power during the day when the need from industry and cooling is at its highest but can also be equipped with battery station to ensure an even 24/7 local grid. The service interval is long and the yearly service can be performed after only a few days of training by local staff, all to keep the total cost down.
